Artist statement

This work is a brief excerpt from my current Honours research, a forensic analysis of loss and belonging, a synthesis in three distinct epochs. It explores themes of mourning, anxiety, self-erasure, the influence of non-human entities and creation of queer environments.

Epoch 1: 鈥淔uck you Aquaman鈥 delves into the concept of cognitive dissonance and the content sourcing process.

Epoch 2: 鈥淓ntanglement and the End of the world" - the inevitability of change and the futility of the attempt to resist it.聽

Epoch 3: 鈥淲hat you Hear and Ignore" - Queer Biophany and the sonic event that holds the Universe together.
