Artist statement

My practice visualises psychological self-multiplicity through surrealist self-portraiture. Composing translucent fragments of myself co-existing within a visceral realm, I construct narratives that externalise internal encounters. These personal narratives explore the conflicting intrapsychic roles of each fragmented self, revealing the disturbed self-relationships that emerge and linger in the aftermath of trauma.

Through subtle modulation of tone and colour, the work reflects on how we reconstruct the past and the stories that water continues to hold.
