Textiles and fashion design is the integration of textile creation and fashion garment design. You’ll focus on the complete value chain, from research and design to project realisation with an emphasis on design methodologies, sustainability and the circular economy. By exploring how textiles contribute to the aesthetic, functional and sustainable aspects of fashion, you'll gain the practical knowledge you need to anticipate future industry developments.

Textiles and fashion design is offered as an optional minor in the Integrated Design specialisation in the Bachelor of Design, which is a studio-based and research-led university experience. You’ll develop skills in concept development, making, critical thinking, technology, research and management, leading you to a diverse range of careers.
