Abiola is a dedicated, diligent and proactive researcher with a willingness to learn and adapt. He holds a Master's degree in Construction Economics and a Bachelor of Technology in Quantity Surveying from the Federal University of Technology, Akure, Nigeria. He has demonstrated these abilities both within and outside academia, having worked as a Research Assistant (part-time) and in various corporate organizations as a Quantity Surveyor, Assistant Procurement Manager and Project Manager in the Nigerian construction Industry.

He is experienced in working with diverse teams and prioritising tasks effectively to achieve corporate goals. He possesses a strong sense of responsibility and passion for sustainable construction, combining ethical commitment, environmental efficiency and cost-savings objectives. He is a dedicated researcher with peer-reviewed publications in reputable journals, committed to advancing both theoretical and practical knowledge in the Built Environment. Ensuring academic research drives improvements and foster innovative change. In addition, he has contributed across research areas such as carbon trading, sustainable construction practices, construction innovations, generative AI, social media applications and eco-friendly materials.

He is currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree (PhD) in Built Environment at the University of New South Wales (ºÚÁÏÍø´óʼÇ), Australia, with a focus on construction mental health.
