Emmet is a research student studying a Master of Pre-Doctorial Business Studies in Risk and Actuarial, with the intention of beginning a PhD in 2026. He obtained a Bachelor of Actuarial Studies with Professional Practice from Macquarie University in 2021 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries Australia in 2024. Between undergraduate and postgraduate study, he worked as an actuarial consultant in the general insurance industry. His research interests include healthy ageing and mortality modelling.
