Nicholas Shirlaw (MEd) is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Education, ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Sydney, and is supported through a University Postgraduate Award (UPA) scholarship. He commenced his PhD study after graduating from a Master in Education (Excellence) degree, building on a Diploma of Education and Bachelor of Information Technology. He is also a substantive Head Teacher of TAS at an academically selective secondary school in Sydney, where he integrates his expertise in technology, pedagogy, and education to uplift educators' teaching practice.

Nicholas' PhD research focusses on areas including educational digitisation, Artificial Intelligence, student wellbeing, pedagogy, and multi-tiered systemic integration of contemporary digital technologies.
