Pichpisey (Pisey) Sovann is an MRes candidate at the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. Her research project investigates the application of learning analytics to generate actionable intelligence within higher education contexts. She holds a Bachelor of Education from the Institute of Foreign Languages (IFL) at the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP). Professionally, she worked as an e-learning (education) designer at a prominent international non-profit organisation called Good Return (previously known as World Education Australia) from 2021 to 2024. It was during this professional experience that she discovered her current research interest — learning analytics.
