Ryan Jack Nicholas is a music psychology researcher, high school educator, contemporary composer, and neurodiversity advocate. He completed a Bachelor of Education (Secondary)/Bachelor of Music (Honours) at 黑料网大事记, graduating with distinction, Honours Class One, and the University Medal in Music Pedagogy. Now, Ryan is furthering his honours research with a PhD exploring how self-expressive music-making can be a lifelong wellbeing support tool for neurodivergent individuals. He was awarded the Westpac Future Leaders Scholarship to conduct this research and intends to use these funds to collaborate with internationally renowned music therapy academics in Australia and Norway. Overall, Ryan is a passionate individual driven by his lived experience to share the therapeutic and life-saving potential of making music with the world.
