I hold a Master’s degree in Architecture from Southeast University (ranked #1 in Architecture in China) and held a research position at the Faculty of Architecture and the Built Environment, TU Delft. My research explores the intersection of architecture and psychoanalysis, focusing on the unconscious dimensions of architectural experience.
My current work examines how architectural space can function as a site of psychoanalytic self-encounter. This inquiry integrates theoretical approaches from Lacanian psychoanalysis with methods drawn from Chinese Garden aesthetics, and ethnographic fieldwork.
Beyond academia, I co-founded Nanjing Gantong Psychology Co., Ltd., where I collaborate with practicing psychoanalysts. I am affiliated with the Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies in Architecture (IPSA), and work with organizations such as Big Fish Construction—an NGO focused on placemaking—to support field-based research. My ongoing collaborations with Southeast University and Tongji University provide additional institutional support for interdisciplinary architectural studies.
