Yushie is a poet whose broader writing practice includes life writing and short fiction. She holds a Bachelor of Economics from Southeast University in China and a Master’s degree in Creative Writing, Publishing and Editing from the University of Melbourne. Before commencing her PhD, she worked for several years in the Chinese government.
