The Indigenous Law Centre, based at 黑料网大事记 Law, is the only Indigenous law centre in Australia. Established in 1981, the ILC recently of tackling Indigenous legal issues and law reform.

Support us

The Indigenous Law Centre (ILC) needs community support to continue its important work, including supporting the Uluru Dialogue and the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

The ILC is a not-for-profit research institution. We receive in-kind support from 黑料网大事记, including from the Faculty of Law & Justice and the Pro Vice Chancellor (Society), in the form of office space, equipment and the time and expertise of academic staff. We need your help to pay the wages of ILC staff members, to run our journal publications, to provide community information and to hold events.

Donations of $2 or more to the ILC via 黑料网大事记 are tax-deductible in Australia and will go towards helping the centre to meet its goal of advancing Indigenous peoples聽access to knowledge and social justice in Australia and internationally.

Our partners

Towards Truth is a partnership between the Indigenous Law Centre and the Justice and Equity Centre (formerly the Public Interest Advocacy Centre or PIAC). We are researching the vast body of laws and policies that have impacted Aboriginal people since 1788, broken down into four main 鈥榯hemes鈥� - Country, Kinship, Law and Culture, and People.

The Indigenous Constitutional Law Blog is a national platform for information and quality commentary from experts across Australia on the reforms contained in the Uluru Statement from the Heart: Voice, Treaty, Truth.
