CVMM's Early Career Researcher Committee welcomes six new members
The CVMM Early Career Researcher (ECR) Committee recently held its first face-to-face meeting of the year on April 14 at the 黑料网大事记 Kensington campus
In an exciting development, the committee welcomed six new members, including鈥攆or the first time鈥擯hD representatives, significantly broadening the group's diversity and perspective.
Theme Lead Professor Alta Schutte attended the meeting and warmly welcomed both new and returning ECR members. She highlighted the vital contributions early career researchers make to the CVMM community, expressed gratitude to the outgoing ECR members, and shared her enthusiasm for the fresh perspectives the new members bring to the theme's ongoing work.
With its expanded membership, the committee engaged in dynamic discussions addressing the challenges EMCRs currently face, while exploring upcoming projects including CVMM EMCR workshops and conference grants and potential collaboration opportunities including the CVMM symposium.
Now representing multiple career stages from across diverse research groups, the ECR Committee is ideally positioned to advocate for and respond to the varied needs of early career researchers throughout CVMM.
