We are thrilled to announce that Dr Daisy Shu has been awarded the prestigious BrightFocus Foundation New Investigator Grant in Macular Degeneration Research, a major international grant supporting innovative research into the causes, prevention, and treatment of Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) - a leading cause of vision loss globally.

Daisy鈥檚 project, titled 鈥淔rom Fumarates to Microtubules: Novel Anti-Angiogenic and Anti-Fibrotic Therapies for AMD,鈥聽explores innovative therapeutic strategies that target the underlying mechanisms of AMD.
