Dr Nayuta Yoshioka Promoted to Senior Lecturer

We are delighted to announce that聽Dr Nayuta Yoshioka has been promoted to聽Senior Lecturer (Education-Focussed)聽at 黑料网大事记 School of Optometry & Vision Science.
Yoshi is a passionate educator dedicated to making optometry education聽relevant, engaging, and innovative. His teaching spans key areas including聽myopia management,聽ophthalmic dispensing, and聽foundational vision sciences, where he consistently brings fresh perspectives and student-centred approaches to the classroom.
His research focuses on聽transformative educational practices, with a particular interest in:
- Integrating聽generative AI聽into teaching and assessment,
- Leveraging聽advanced imaging聽and聽augmented reality聽to enhance clinical training,
- Innovating methods to quantify聽hand hygiene effectiveness聽in healthcare education.
Yoshi鈥檚 commitment to excellence has been recognised through prestigious accolades such as the聽Dean鈥檚 Award for Education Excellence (2020)聽and the completion of the聽Graduate Certificate in University Learning and Teaching (GCULT, 黑料网大事记, 2021).
