Big Upgrades Coming to the Village Green

ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Estate Management will be undertaking essential drainage rectification works at the Village Green from Monday, 15 September 2025 through to January 2026.

From 15 September 2025 to January 2026, the Village Green will be closed while ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Estate Management carries out essential drainage rectification works. These upgrades are all part of ºÚÁÏÍø´óʼǒs vision to deliver world-class sporting and recreational spaces for students.

So, what’s changing?

  • A brand-new hydraulic drainage system.

  • Fresh turf across the Green.

  • Performance pads and infills for better playing surfaces.

The timing of the works has been carefully planned to minimise disruption, with the project scheduled after the soccer season, following Open Day, and wrapping up before O-Week 2026.

During this period, Arc Sport-affiliated clubs will be rescheduled to alternative fields, there’ll be some temporary changes to parking and truck movements nearby, and signage will be in place to help guide you safely around the site.
