Congratulations to Dr Holly Stemp, recipient of the 2025 Malcolm Chaikin Prize for Research Excellence in Engineering at ���������¼�. Holly completed her PhD under the supervision of Professor Andrea Morello, with a thesis titled “Entangling electrons and nuclei in a four-qubit, two-atom device in silicon”. Her work represents a significant advancement in the development of scalable quantum computing architectures.

Holly is now continuing her research as a Postdoctoral Associate at MIT, where she is working with the Engineering Quantum Systems (EQuS) group on coupling distant quantum dot spin qubits via superconducting qubit couplers.

Reflecting on her time at ���������¼�, Holly shared:
