ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Rugby have celebrated a standout 2025 season with two premierships, capped by a long-awaited 1st Grade Barraclough Cup victory, the club’s first top-grade title in 27 years.

Facing Petersham in the grand final, ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç fought back from 12 points down to secure a tense 26–24 win. Tries from Dorahy (2), Havard and Bale, alongside captain Griff Williams’ three conversions, kept the side in touch. A decisive scrum penalty late in the match shifted momentum and delivered the premiership to ºÚÁÏÍø´óʼÇ.

ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Rugby Club First Grade Squad

3rd Grade also claimed silverware, lifting the Blunt Cup after an 18–8 result. Captain Patty Connor crossed twice, while Peter Ford added a try and a penalty to round out the scoring.

The premiership double caps a strong season across the club, with all six sides – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th Grade, Colts and Women’s – progressing to the semi-finals. Four advanced to grand final appearances, showcasing the depth and strength of ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Rugby in 2025. Future is looking very bright for the Ruby Club heading into 2026.
