Undertaking genetic rescue and breeding system work for an endangered Zieria .
We have a 2026 Honours opportunity to collaborate with the NSW Saving our Species program and the Botanic Gardens of Sydney to undertake a study examining the suitability of Zieria obcordata for genetic rescue using hand pollination between to closely related subspecies. This work will occur using a nursery held collection with opportunities for field survey and additional seed ecology study.
