Hi my name is Neve, I am a PhD student researching invasion genetics using the model common starling. I did my undergraduate at ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç in the school of BABS, and honours focusing on marsupial sex determination. I then worked in industry for 6 months as research associate in a start-up called Vow. I then decided that I wanted to pursue higher education, and obtain my PhD.

Project Description: Investigating the genetic basis of the invasion of starlings in Australia, comparing native and invasive starling populations worldwide, and conducting comparative genomics with other closely related species.
