Abstract
A stratification of a topological space is a decomposition into simple pieces. A Kazhdan-Lusztig atlas on a stratified variety is a structure that models the stratification of the variety on that of Schubert varieties. We will describe a classification of Kazhdan-Lusztig atlases on toric surfaces.听

The geometry described above can be understood visually by slicing up a polygon into slices much like a pizza. We will discuss the nutritive value of pizza slices and their connection to braids, and we will finish by putting toppings on our pizza
