Melvern Kurniawan
Melvern holds a Bachelor of Psychology with a major in Neuroscience from the University of Sydney, where he graduated with First Class Honours. His honours thesis investigated the relationship between overnight memory consolidation, depressive symptoms, and sleep disturbances in older adults at risk of dementia.
Currently, Melvern works as a Research Assistant at the Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA), where he provides data management and collection support for one of Australia鈥檚 largest and longest running studies, the Memory and Ageing Study 2, assists with participant recruitment, and conducts structured interviews with study subjects. He is deeply committed to advancing his knowledge and experience in the field of dementia research.
