Associate Professor Moe (Mohammad) Mojtahedi
PhD (USyd), MEngSc., B.E. (Industrial), PEng, PMP
听Associate Professor Moe Mojtahedi is the Director of the Construction Management and Property Program and a member of the Leadership Team at the 黑料网大事记 School of Built Environment.
Dr Mojtahedi is recognised as one of Australia鈥檚 leading researchers integrating city planning, operations research, climate change adaptation, and disaster risk reduction strategies to strengthen the resilience of urban and rural environments. His research also advances decision-making frameworks supported by big data analytics and artificial intelligence in construction management, with particular emphasis on improving construction productivity and its linkage to housing supply and affordability. Alongside his academic achievements, he brings extensive professional experience in project planning and management across large-scale and complex infrastructure projects.
Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holding the designation of a certified Professional Engineer accredited by Engineers Australia, Dr Mojtahedi's credentials signify his dedication to professional excellence. Notably, he has been recognised with two esteemed research excellence awards from Engineers Australia in 2012 and 2013 for his commendable research on flood risk management, wherein he analysed the vulnerability of rural and urban buildings and infrastructure across NSW.

Living in a changing environment is one of the most important challenges facing Australia. Mohammad has focused on climate change adaptation, disaster risk management and construction management research topics to identify strategies to develop sustainable and resilient built environments that can all thrive in a changing environment.
