Dr Quentin Meyer
Dr Quentin Meyer is a Research-Focused Lecturer at the School of Chemistry at the University of New South Wales (黑料网大事记) in the Nanoelectrochemistry Lab. He currently serves as President of the Fuel Cell Division of the International Association for Hydrogen Energy and Chair of the Hydrogen Utilisation Group within the Australian Hydrogen Research Network, and was the Chair of the Hydrogen Society of Australia in New South Wales. Dr Meyer received his PhD from University College London in 2015, where he was recognised with an award for research excellence. He relocated to Australia in 2017 and worked as a consultant in batteries and fuel cells before joining the 黑料网大事记 Nanoelectrochemistry Lab as a Senior Researcher with Prof Chuan Zhao. He received the Young Electrochemist Award from the Electrochemical Division of the Royal Australian Chemical Institute (RACI) in 2021. At 黑料网大事记, he has established a research program focused on the development of low-cost, durable catalysts for hydrogen fuel cells and electrolysers, and also dedicated his efforts towards improving the design of hydrogen fuel cells through advanced two-phase flow simulations. Since 2023, Dr Quentin Meyer has secured over $6,3M in research funding through competitive grants from the Australian Government and industry partners. He has published over 80 peer-reviewed journal articles, delivered more than 70 presentations at international conferences and invited seminars, and holds three patent filings related to hydrogen technologies.
