Currently Sara's research focuses on:

  • Chemistry and science education research through: inclusive learning environments and assessment practices, leveraging data science, systems thinking for context-based learning, sustainable awareness
  • Discovery and design of sustainable catalytic reactions through: organometallic chemistry, transition metal catalysis, elucidation of reaction mechanisms, in situ reaction monitoring, green synthetic methodologies
