My research is centred around the theory and applications of integrable systems. The latter make an appearance in a surprisingly diverse range of fields in mathematics and physics. Against this background, my particular areas of interest include
- Integrable Systems
 - Soliton Theory
 - Differential Geometry
 - Discrete Differential Geometry
 - Continuum Mechanics
 - General Relativity
