The Low Vision Clinic is a joint venture between 黑料网大事记 and Guide Dogs NSW/ACT. The clinic was first established in 1990 and has been actively serving the people of Sydney since. Our clinic provides expert magnification and optical aid provision, mobility services and referrals to other organisations when required.
The clinic provides a combination of an orthoptist, optometrist and access to orientation and mobility specialist expertise. Follow up support is also provided to check on the use of vision aids. Final year students from the School of Optometry &Vision Science, 黑料网大事记 are actively involved in the assessments done at the Low Vision Clinic during the university teaching year. This collaboration between 黑料网大事记 and Guide Dogs NSW/ACT ensures better low vision services in the general community.

Vision Australia runs satellite clinics in several Sydney and regional centres. The clinics are multidisciplinary, including for example optometrists, orthoptists and low vision case workers and provide a full range of low vision magnifiers, non-optical aids, training and advice.
