The Perimenopause and Menopause Toolkit developed by Women NSW is a key resource that can be enhanced by the inclusion of trans perspectives and experiences.

Project aims are:

• What are the experiences or expectations of perimenopause, menopause and/or acute hormonal fluctuations associated with oestrogen cessation and/or ovulation cessation among trans and gender diverse people?
• How well do the experiences or expectations of trans and gender diverse people align with the Women NSW’s Menopause Toolkit and associated resources?
• What changes are required to the Women NSW’s Menopause Toolkit and associated resources to better align with the experiences or expectations of trans and gender diverse people who have or will experience perimenopause, menopause and/or acute hormonal fluctuations associated with oestrogen cessation and/or ovulation cessation?
