A significant component of our vision at CHeBA is impact on the improvement of diagnosis and post-diagnostic care of age-related brain disorders.Â
    We aim to have an impact on the improvement of diagnosis, post-diagnostic care and long-term community and residential care. Central to our clinical focus is the improvement of the quality of practice for GPs, memory clinics and hospitals through research and through setting up the Australian Dementia Network and Registry.Â

This ‘user-friendly’ Guide for Carers was developed to provide information and support for care partners and hands-on care staff in their role of caring for people with dementia, who present with changed behaviours.
    Dementia Outcomes Measurement Suite (DOMS)
DOMS is a comprehensive collection of validated tools designed to support healthcare professionals in assessing various aspects of dementia.
    Australian Dementia Network (ADNeT)
Network of Australia’s leading researchers, clinicians and consumers working together on dementia prevention, treatment and care. ADNeT brings together 25 researchers across 15 Australian institutions.
    Forward with Dementia
A unique international initiative that empowers people recently diagnosed with dementia—and those who support them—to live positively and meaningfully. The Centre for Healthy Brain Ageing (CHeBA) is proud to be a lead contributor and the Australian coordinator of this important program.
    LGBTI Fact sheets
There is a need for greater, targeted support for LGBTI people with dementia from all care contexts, requiring service providers to be better informed in the additional considerations relevant to the understanding and supporting those who present with changed behaviours.
