About the program
The ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç Medicine Clinical Mentoring Scheme (CMS) is designed to support medical students in Years 3 through 6 as they enhance their clinical skills and confidence. The program prepares students for internships and future career opportunities by providing access to experienced clinicians who offer professional insights, advice, and guidance.
Through one-on-one mentoring, students establish personalised goals to improve their clinical knowledge, develop career-ready skills, and reflect on their academic and professional growth. Mentors share their expertise, helping students navigate the world of medical practice across hospital and community settings.
Program duration and availability
- Eligibility: Open to all Phase 2 and Phase 3 medical students (Years 3–6)
- Rural Clinical School Students: Students based at the Rural Clinical School can contact their campus for local mentoring program options. If no suitable local programs are available, students may join the CMS and leave the location field blank during registration

Why join peer mentoring?

As a mentee, you'll receive guidance from a senior student (mentor) to help you navigate university life with confidence. As a mentor, your support will empower new students to thrive academically and socially, while you build valuable skills.
