Monzino 80-Plus Study (Session 1, Day 1)
Dr Ugo Lucca听presented the results of the Monzino 80-plus Study during Session 1, Day 1 of the听Living to 100 Conference 2018. The results of the study show that prevalence rates of dementia do not level off but continue to rise even in the extreme ages. (1.09mb PDF).

IMAGING THE BRAINS OF CENTENARIANS (SESSION 3, DAY 1)
Professor Perminder Sachdev听presented 'Imaging the Brains of Centenarians' during Session 3: Neuropathology/Imaging on Day 1 of the听Living to 100 Conference 2018. Professor Sachdev provided an overview of brain changes in very old, as shown by neuroimaging studies, and the lessons this may have to healthy exceptional brain ageing, as well as imaging data from the听Sydney Centenarian Study.

Ngaire Hobbins presented on the unique nutrition needs of people in their 70s and beyond (and how it differs from those of young adults), during Session 2: Evidence-Based Recommendations for Living to 100 Conference 2018, on Day 2 of the Living to 100 Conference. Ngaire also discussed research findings in longevity and nutrition for people of all ages and offered sensible, practical guidance on how to incorporate that knowledge into everyday eating.(884kb PDF).
