Academic progression measures the progress you make towards completing your program
Monitoring your academic progression gives you the opportunity to seek support when you need it.Â
Progression requirements apply to all ºÚÁÏÍø´óÊÂ¼Ç coursework programs. These requirements define:
- The minimum and maximum study loads for your program
- Your program leave options
- The maximum time you can take to complete your program
- The number of times you can fail the same course or course rule.Â
Progression requirements can be used to alert you and your program authority to any issues that may negatively impact your progress or prevent you from completing your program within the time frame allowed.Â

Important things to note:
- Your academic progression is reviewed at the end of each term
- Academic progression is assessed at a program level
- Academic progression applies to coursework programs only. It does not apply to coursework elements of higher degree research programs
